SUMMARY:Graveyard 5K & Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile
DESCRIPTION:Burgaw Autumn Festival’s Graveyard 5K & Boo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile \nGraveyard 5K.\nThe Graveyard 5K is a traditional race through Burgaw\, North Carolina including running on the the scenic Osgood Canal Greenway and Urban Trail. Our brave racers will also run through a 1/3 mile section through the Burgaw Cemetery. According to records\, there are graves dating back to the 1860s. Run fast! \nBoo-gaw Trick or Treat Mile.\nIn this One Mile Race\, participants run the town square in Burgaw.  After the race\, trick or treat through the festival.  Our vendors will have special treats for participants.  This event is open to participants of all ages. \nCommunity Partner.\nThe event has partnered with the Parks Foundation of Burgaw Splash Pad Project. \nMAKE A SPLASH FOR A GREAT CAUSE! \nWe’re raising funds to build a Splash Pad at Bishop Rayford Hankins Memorial Park – a vibrant\, safe\, and inclusive play space where kids of all ages can beat the heat and make lasting memories. \nHelp us turn on the water and turn up the fun in Burgaw! \nFor more information visit HERE.  To donate click HERE. \nDISTANCES OFFERED\n5K – Timed Event\n1 Mile – Timed Event\n*You can walk or run either event. \nWHEN\nSaturday\, October 18\, 2025 \nSTART / FINISH LINE LOCATION\nBurgaw Town Square\nOn E Freemont Street between S Wright St & S Walker St\nBurgaw\, NC 28425\n(*For Google Maps use this address: 100 S Wright Street) \n\nPARKING\nParking is available:\n– Parking lot at Burgaw Town Hall at N Walker Street & E Wilmington Street\n– In front of the Historic Burgaw Train Depot\n– Any legal parking spot along Freemont Street
