SUMMARY:Wilmington Historic Half
DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Wilmington Historic Half Marathon\, 10K & 5K will take place on Saturday December 2nd\, 2023. This year we are adding a 10K! Starting in the heart of downtown\, runners will take a beautiful\, closed course through the streets as they see the true southern beauty in Historic Wilmington\, North Carolina.  After 2.5 miles of downtown running\, the 5K splits off to the boardwalk to finish while the Half Marathon will continue straight over 3 bridges and around a scenic lake before finishing down one of the nation’s top-rated boardwalks! The 10K splits after the 3rd bridge and heads down the boardwalk to the finish line!

DESCRIPTION:‘Tis the holiday season! Although we might not have snow\, there’s nothing more fun than a coastal Christmas run! Join us  for a festive 5K and 10K race around the campus of UNCW. Bring your holiday cheer – prizes will be awarded to our most spirited runners! \nNEW LOCATION FOR 2023 \nAlthough we have loved our location at Legion Stadium and Greenfield Lake for many years\, our participation numbers have now exceeded what we feel is safe and manageable for the trail at Greenfield Lake.  SO…we are moving to UNCW!  Start and Finish on the UNCW TRACK!  All post-race fun will be held at the infield of the track. \nThe William H. Craig Race for Life is a celebratory race for the YMCA’s Girls on the Run\, Heart & Sole and STRIDE participants. These programs encourage kids and families to pursue a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living while building confidence in their ability to complete a 5K. Come join boys and girls in grades 3-8\, as they celebrate their accomplishments of the season! Public runners are welcome as this race provides much-needed scholarships for future Girls on the Run and STRIDE participants. \nA fun and festive atmosphere\, William H. Craig Race for Life 5K and 10K celebrates friends\, family and wellness!

SUMMARY:Carolina Beach State Park Trail Half Marathon & 5K
DESCRIPTION:Carolina Beach State Park Trail Half Marathon & 5K \nThe Carolina Beach State Park Trail Half Marathon & 5K is a trail race in Carolina Beach\, NC. With 13.1 and 3.1 mile courses\, all levels of speed and ability are allotted an opportunity to race in one of the most unique setting in North Carolina. Rolling pine laced single track along the coast\, offers participants tons of interesting terrain to take-in while they put out max effort for unique prizes. After the race\, participants (21+) can enjoy one beer on the patio at the American Legion.
